Adding the widget
Open Ampy, pick a design and theme, and tap Add to home screen. If your launcher cannot add widgets from an app, long-press an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets, find Ampy and drag the Battery widget onto the screen.
Resizing it
Long-press the widget and drag its handles. It works at any size from 1x1 to a full screen, and the layout adapts automatically. Some launchers only allow certain sizes; that is set by the launcher, not by Ampy.
Changing a widget's look
Tap the widget (if it is set to open its settings), long-press it and choose its settings, or open the Ampy app. Each widget keeps its own design, theme and options.
The widget is slow to update
Ampy updates within a second of plugging in or unplugging. If it lags, your phone may be stopping Ampy to save power. Open Settings > Apps > Ampy > Battery and choose Unrestricted (the wording varies by phone). Even if Android stops it, the widget still refreshes on its own, just less often.
The notification
Android only lets an app react to the charger instantly while it shows a notification. Ampy's is silent and set to the lowest importance. To hide it, long-press it and turn off Instant updates; the widget keeps working.
Charge alerts are not showing
Alerts need permission to show notifications. Open Settings > Apps > Ampy > Notifications and allow Battery alerts. Each alert fires once per charge or discharge, when the battery crosses the level you set.
Restoring Pro on a new phone
Sign in to the same Google account you bought Pro with, install Ampy from Google Play and open it. Pro unlocks by itself. There is nothing to restore by hand.
Refunds
Google Play handles payments and refunds. You can request a refund from your Google Play order history, or email us and we will help.
Charging speed looks wrong
Ampy shows the speed your phone reports. Phones measure it differently, and some report it only roughly or not at all, so Ampy leaves it out rather than show a number it cannot trust. The speed also drops as the battery fills, which is normal.
